STUDY ON THE MASS
- Coming this fall, Fr. Michael Metzgar will present a study about the
Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, using Word on Fire’s
The Mass. Each class will consist of a 25 minute video, a presentation based on
the video, and time for Q & A. This study will be held every
Tuesday at 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Former Church until November 6. All are welcome! For

CCW SPAGHETTI DINNER - All are invited to attend the
fall Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, October 27, 4:00-7:00
p.m. in the Social Hall. Dinner includes homemade meatballs,
all-you-can-eat pasta, a salad bar featuring 12 salad
toppings, beverage, and homemade dessert. The Council of
Catholic Women will be selling tickets at the door. Prices
are $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-11, free for
children age 5 and under. Our friendly team of chefs will be
happy to serve you. We hope to see you there!
PANCAKE BREAKFAST -
The HNJ Knights of Columbus (K of C) Council #14081
will sponsor an “all you can eat” pancake breakfast on
Sunday, November 11, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Social
Hall. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and beverage.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. All
proceeds will go to assist parish projects sponsored by K of
C throughout the year.
ANNUAL MASS CELEBRATING THE GIFTS
OF PEOPLE WITH
will be held on Sunday, November 18, 11:30 a.m.
at St. Catherine Laboure in Harrisburg. Bishop Ronald Gainer
will be the Celebrant and Homilist. This year also marks the
40th Anniversary of the signing of the 1978 Pastoral
Statement on Persons with Disabilities. A light reception

THE 177 PROJECT
- Saint Joseph Parish in
Mechanicsburg will host the 177 Project, which will bring an
evening of Eucharistic Adoration and live music, on Sunday
November 18, 6:30-9:00 p.m. The evening begins with the
rosary at 6:45 p.m., followed by Adoration at 7:00 p.m. and
a small concert at 8:15 p.m. The 177 Project aims to hold
one of these evenings in all 177 dioceses in the country,
and St. Joe’s will host this event for the Diocese of
Harrisburg. This event is complete free but does require a
