MEALS ON WHEELS
is currently in need of substitute volunteer
drivers. Meals are delivered to the elderly and homebound in
the Lower Paxton and Susquehanna Township areas Monday
through Friday mornings, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Delivery
routes are usually 2 hours or less. Holy Name of Jesus
Church is assigned one week a month to supply drivers for
this program. As a substitute driver, you would be contacted
if an assigned driver is unable to deliver. This would
usually only be at the most one day a month and as much
notice as possible would be given. For more information,

- Interested in helping the needy in our community?
Volunteers are needed to pick up bread at Karns Foods and
drop off at St. Francis Soup Kitchen in Harrisburg on
Tuesday mornings. The Holy Name of Jesus St. Vincent de Paul
whose goal is to provide person to
person contact in helping the poor and destitute, is also
seeking new members! For more information, please contact

- St. Christopher’s Travel Club
will host the following bus trip: September 9-15 to Myrtle
Beach & Charleston, SC, $625/person. For more info or

ROSARY IN THE PRAYER GARDEN
(located behind the Parish Office) will
take place every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., weather
permitting. We will pray for World Peace and any petitions
of those attending. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to
CCW PICNIC DINNER AND "GRAB BAG" SOCIAL will be held
in the Social Hall on Wednesday, June 13, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Please bring a friend and a dish to share! After a short
board meeting and dinner, we will have the "grab bag"
social. Search for an item in your home that you no longer
want, and wrap it in a colorful gift bag so we can auction
it off. So bring some quarters and join in this Council of
Catholic Women social event. All women of the parish are

BABY BOTTLE BLESSING
- To support the life-affirming work of Morning Star
Pregnancy Services, we will be participating in the Baby
Bottle Blessing Campaign through June 17. Look for the baby
bottle display in the Church for your donations. We invite
each family to take a baby bottle home and fill it with
loose change, bills, or a check made payable to Morning
Star. Remember to pray for moms and babies during this time.

Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Fairview
Golf Course in Lebanon on Friday, June 22 starting at 1:30 p.m.
Cost is $88 per golfer which includes lunch, greens
fees/cart, dinner, and gift. Non-golfers are welcome to
register for dinner only. There will also be a basket
raffle. If you cannot attend this year, please consider
